VP Celestina

Celestina is located on the top floor of an 18th century Grand Canal Palace, boasting one of the most spectacular terraces in Venice: a huge south-facing space offering its fortunate guests a birds eye vista across the canal to the bell tower of St. Marks and even beyond to the the snow-capped Dolomites.

The Palace’s entrance is imposing, embellished by stone sculptures and an ancient well. A-state-of-the-art lift takes you swiftly to the third floor (then nine wide steps up to the apartment).

Upon entering, you are immediately struck by the incredible light pouring-in from the renaissance-style windows. A large sitting room with eclectic art and comfortable large sofas leads on to the terrace, where an amazing view awaits. This expansive outdoor space is furnished with sun loungers, tables and chairs, and is perfect for al fresco dining.

To the left of the main salon is a formal dining room with seating for eight people. An elegant credenza stands at the back of the room, displaying a set of porcelain dishes and crystal glasses, ready for celebratory dinners.

The Master Bedroom: located at the front of the apartment with Grand Canal views and exclusive terrace access, this large space is dominated by a super king size bed (200 x 200). The en-suite travertine marble bathroom has his and hers sinks, stand-alone large shower, and bathtub with hand shower.

The Green Bedroom: six steps down to this beautiful atmospheric bedroom with four-poster bed (160 x 200), hand painted walls and furniture custom designed by Porte Italia. The bedroom and bathroom have eye-catching views towards the Frari Church. The bathroom has a lovely stand alone marble shower.

The Pink Bedroom: six steps up to this charming single bedroom with sympathetically decorated painted furniture. The bed (110 x 200) is very comfortable. French doors open onto a good size terrace bedecked with table and chairs, featuring extensive views over the surrounding rooftops. It is the ideal place for a private breakfast or sun-worshipping.

The Farfalle Bedroom: hand painted and decorated with delicate butterflies, a particular love of the owner, this bedroom has a super king size 4 poster bed (190 x 200) and en-suite bathroom with double vanity, tub with hand shower.

The Ivory Bedroom: a cosy bedroom with good size double bed (160 x 200) and large en-suite walk-in marble shower accommodating two persons.
